What is iWork?
iWork is Apple’s office suite for documents, spreadsheets, and presentations - the bundle behind Pages, Numbers, and Keynote. It is used by individuals, students, teams, and Apple-first businesses that want a clean way to create, edit, and collaborate on everyday work across Mac, iPad, iPhone, and the web. Apple positions iWork as a real-time collaboration suite with templates, design tools, Apple Pencil support on iPad, and browser-based access through iCloud. Well-known users are not broadly published by Apple for the suite as a whole, but iWork is widely distributed across Apple devices and supported on iCloud.com for Mac and PC users.
iWork began as a more traditional Apple productivity package and has evolved into three separate apps with shared cloud collaboration and cross-device editing. The suite has gone from boxed software to App Store distribution to a free, deeply integrated part of the Apple productivity stack, with ongoing updates that extend the apps across Mac, iPad, iPhone, and web access.
